Smoked sausage and cabbage (Keto)

 


Makes 6 servings

  • 1 pound smoked sausage, cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 6 cups coarsely chopped cabbage
  • 1 yellow onion, cut into ½-inch wedges
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ teaspoon caraway seeds
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  1. Cook and stir sausage in large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat 3 minutes or until brown ; transfer to plate.
  2. Heat oil in same skillet, add cabbage, onion, garlic, caraway seeds, salt and pepper ; cook and stir 5 minutes or until onion begins to brown.
  3. Add sausage ; cover and cook 5 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat ; let stand 5 minutes.
