Make sure you don't over-grill these boneless pork chops. their internal temperature will continue to rise after you pull them off the grill.
Serves 4
- 4 boneless pork chops, butterflied
Maple Ginger sauce
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon minced fresh gingerroot
- ½ cup pure maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons cider vinegar
- Prepare a hot fire in your grill.
- Prepare the sauce, in a small bowl, combine all the sauce ingredients.
- Grill pork chops for 2 minutes per side ; baste with some of the sauce and grill for about 2 minutes per side, or until just a hint of pink remains inside.
- Serve with the remaining sauce on the side.
*Variation*
Grilled pork chop sandwiches
- Pound chops to about ¼ inch thick.
- Grill for 2 to 3 minutes per side, basting with some of the sauce, until a hint of pink remains inside.
- Brush cut side of sandwich buns with sauce and grill until toasted.
- Garnish with thinly sliced red onion and the remaining sauce.
