4 skewers
- 400 gr beef cubes for skewers (Striploin)
- 1 red bell pepper, cut into 3 cm squares
- 1 yellow bell pepper, cut into 3 cm squares
- 1 orange bell pepper, cut into 3 cm squares
- 1 onion, cut into 3 cm squares
- 30 ml vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper
Red curry and coconut marinade
- 30 ml red curry paste
- 30 ml soy sauce
- 5 ml sesame oil
- 60 ml coconut milk
- 30 ml vegetable oil
- In a large bowl, combine the beef cubes with the marinade ingredients; let marinate in the refrigerator for a minimum of 2 hours.
- In another bowl, mix all the vegetables with the vegetable oil; season.
- On pre-oiled wooden skewers, alternate pieces of beef and vegetables.
- Cook over high heat 6 to 10 minutes, depending on the desired doneness, on the barbecue or on a ridged cast iron griddle.
- Serve on a bed of rice.
