Cheese puffs

Makes 2½ dozen
  • ½ cup butter or margarine, softened
  • ½ teaspoon curry powder
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon grated onion
  • 2 cups grated mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup finely chopped walnuts, toasted (If you have allergy, just forget the nuts)
  • 1¼ cups sifted all-purpose flour
  1. In a large bowl cream the butter or margarine together with the curry, mustard, salt, onion and cheese until well blended ; stir in the walnuts and flour.
  2. Roll level tablespoon of dough into balls and place on a ungreased cookie sheet.
  3. Bake in oven 350F (175C) for 10 to 15 minutes, until lightly browned.
  4. Remove to wire racks.
  5. Serve warm or cold.
