- 1 cup butter or margarine, softened
- ¾ cup sugar
- ¾ cup packed brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2½ cups quick-cooking oats
- 1 package (11½ ounces) milk chocolate chips
- 2 cups chopped walnuts
- 1½ cups All-Bran cereal
- In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugars ; add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition ; beat in vanilla.
- Combine flour, baking soda and salt ; gradually add to creamed mixture.
- Stir in the remaining ingredients ; drop by tablespoonfuls 2 in. apart onto ungreased baking sheets.
- Bake at 350F for 12-14 minutes or until lightly browned ; remove to wire racks to cool.
