Oat-Bran chocolate chip cookies (Cookies)

 


About 7 dozens

  • 1 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • ¾ cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2½ cups quick-cooking oats
  • 1 package (11½ ounces) milk chocolate chips
  • 2 cups chopped walnuts
  • 1½ cups All-Bran cereal
  1. In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugars ; add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition ; beat in vanilla.
  2. Combine flour, baking soda and salt ; gradually add to creamed mixture.
  3. Stir in the remaining ingredients ; drop by tablespoonfuls 2 in. apart onto ungreased baking sheets.
  4. Bake at 350F for 12-14 minutes or until lightly browned ; remove to wire racks to cool.
