Piquant Beef Salad (Buffet cookery)

 


Serves 4 

  • 450 gr cooked lean beef, cut into 2-cm/1-inch cubes
  • 2 small onions, cut into rings
  • 2 pickled cucumbers, sliced
  • 2 cooked medium carrots, sliced
  • 1 red pepper, cut into strips
  • 100 gr muhrooms, cut in quarters
  • 1 large dessert apple
  • Small bunch parsley, finely chopped
  • 3 tablespoons vinegar
  • 6 tablespoons canola oil
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Pinch of garlic salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  1. Peel, halve, and core the apple, and cut into small slices.
  2. Beat the vinegar with the oil, Worcestershire sauce, garlic salt, pepper and parsley.
  3. Mix all the salad ingredients together in a bowl, pour over the dressing, cover and leave to stand at room temperature for 1 hour.
