- 1 unbaked pastry shell (9 inches)
- 4 eggs
- 2½ cups milk
- ½ sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ to 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- Bake pastry shell at 400F for 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, beat eggs in a large bowl ; add remaining ingredients and mix well.
- Pour into crust ; cover edges with foil.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean ; cool completely and store in refrigerator.
