- 20 medium-sized Brussels sprouts, cut in half
- 30 ml melted butter
- 15 ml sugar
- 60 ml 100% natural apple juice
- Salt and pepper
- 125 ml walnuts (walnut kernels)
- 60 ml chives, chopped
- In a bowl, combine the Brussels sprouts, melted butter, sugar and apple juice, season; place the sprouts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Cook at 400F (200C) for 15 minutes.
- Add the walnuts and chives; stir and continue cooking for 5 minutes.
- Serve.
