We love cooking with muffin tins! In addition to being a change, it allows us to cook small individual portions that can easily be frozen later. So practical for lunches and busy meals!
4 servings
- 250 gr Italian sausages (or other sausages of your choice)
- 250 gr ground beef
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 80 gr cheddar cut into eight small cubes
- 320 ml tomato sauce
- Preheat the oven to 350F (180C).
- Brush the holes of a muffin tin with a little olive oil.
- Using the tip of a knife, cut the membrane of the sausages to extract the meat, then place it in a bowl.
- Add the ground beef, salt and pepper; mix with your hands and form eight balls with the mixture.
- Using your thumb, hollow out a cavity in each of the balls, then place a cube of cheese in it; close the cavity with the meat mixture.
- Place the balls in the wells of the muffin tin, then press lightly with your palm so that they take the shape; bake for 20 minutes.
- Meanwhile, reheat the tomato sauce in the microwave or in the saucepan.
- Serve the mini meatloaves with the tomato sauce.
BON APPÉTIT
