It's a breakfast for special days, but it comes together so quickly that it's also perfect for busy mornings.

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- ¼ cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons baking powder (baking powder)
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 2 eggs
- 1½ cups of milk
- ¼ cup vegetable oil
- ½ cup miniature chocolate chips
Cinnamon honey syrup
- 1 cup of honey
- ½ cup butter, cut into cubes
- 1 to 2 teaspoons of ground cinnamon
- In a bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
- Mix eggs, milk and oil; add to dry ingredients and mix well.
- Add the chocolate chips.
- Pour batter by ¼ cupfuls onto a lightly greased griddle; turn when bubbles form on top; cook until second side is golden brown and keep warm.
- Combine syrup ingredients in a 2-cup microwave-safe bowl; microwave, uncovered, on high until butter is melted and syrup is hot, stirring occasionally.
- Serve with the pancakes.
