Simmer for about 5 minutes
- -8 cups water
- -¼ cup sliced onion
- -1 clove garlic
- -1 bay leaf
- -2 celery ribs with leaves
- -1 tablespoon salt
- Wash, drain and add :
- -2 lbs green shrimps
- Slice and add :
- -½ lemon
- Simmer the shrimps for about 5 minutes or till pink ; drain immediately and chill.
- Serve very cold in their shells, to be shelled at the table, with a bowl of Remoulade sauce
