Hot Fudge sauce

For gifts, pour the fudge sauce into gift jars and wrap in sparkling cellophane. Serve hot over chocolate chip cookies and ice cream, or as fondue for fresh fruit.


Makes 5 cups
  • 1 (12-ounce package) semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 (14-ounce can) evaporated milk
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 cup butter
  1. In the top of a double boiler over simmering water, melt the chocolate chips until smooth.
  2. Add the remaining ingrédients and stir until the butter is melted.
  3. Cook for 30 mihutes, remove from the heat and beat with an electric mixer.
