Makes 20 servings (2 tablespoons dip and 4 crackers each)
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
- ¼ cup white wine or apple juice
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground mustard
- 4 medium green onions, thinly sliced (¼ cup)
- 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
- 1 can (6 oz) crabmeat, drained, cartilage removed and flaked
- ¼ cup sliced almonds
- Assorted crackers or fresh vegetables
- Heat oven to 375F (190C).
- In medium bowl, mix all ingredients except crabmeat, almonds and crackers until well blended ; stir in crabmeat.
- In ungreased 9-inch glass pie plate or shallow 1-quart casserole, spread the crabmeat mixture ; sprinkle with almonds.
- Bake uncovered 15 to 20 minutes or until hot and bubbly ; serve with crackers.
