Mustardy Crab Cakes (Keto for beginners)

 


4 servings

  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 1 lb lump crab meat
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 egg
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons coconut flour
  • 1 tablespoon cilantro, chopped
  • Salt and black pepper to taste.
  1. In a bowl, add the crab meat, mustard, mayonnaise, coconut flour, egg, cilantro, salt, and pepper ; mix well to combine and make patties out of the mixture.
  2. Melt the coconut oil in a skillet over medium heat ; add the patties and brown for about 2-3 minutes per side.
  3. Remove with a perforated spoon and drain on kitchen paper.
  4. Serve with tartare sauc if desired.
