- 5 to 6 red or green bell peppers
- Preheat the oven to 450F (225C).
- Wash the peppers and place them on a cookie sheet in the oven.
- Roast 20 minutes or until the peppers are blistered on all sides, turning them once.
- Transfer the peppers to a paper bag (or plastic bag) and let them stand for 15 minutes.
- Peel and seed the peppers.
- They are ready to use according the recipe.
