Kitchen metrics

For cooking and baking convenience, use the following metric measurements.


Spoons
  • ¼ teaspoon = 1 milliliter
  • ½ teaspoon = 2 milliliters
  • 1 teaspoon = 5 milliliters
  • 1 tablespoon = 15 milliliters

Cups
  • ¼ cup = 60 milliliters
  • One-third cup = 80 milliliters
  • ½ cup = 125 milliliters
  • Two-third cup = 160 milliliters
  • ¾ cup = 180 milliliters
  • 1 cup = 250 milliliters


Oven temperatures
  • 200F = 100C
  • 250F = 120C
  • 300F = 150C
  • 350F = 180C
  • 400F = 200C
  • 450F = 230C

Weight
  • 1 ounce = 30 grams
  • 1 pound = 450 grams
