This "Cookie" is a kid's dream-come-true.
One 14-inch pizza
- 2¼ cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup butter or margarine, softened
- 2 eggs
- ¾ cup sugar
- ¾ cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 tespoon vanilla extract
- 12-ounce package semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
- Topping (recipe follows)
- Preheat oven to 375F (190C).
- Combine flour, soda, and salt in bowl.
- In another bowl, cream butter and sugars until blended ; beat in eggs and vanilla extract.
- Mix in dry ingredients, along with chocolate chips and nuts ; pat into 14-inch round pizza pan thathasbeen sprayed with nonstick coating.
- Bake 25 minutes.
- Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle topping over cookie crust and let stand 5 minutes, then swirl with spatula.
- Cool completely ; cut into wedges before serving.
Topping
- 6-ounce package semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup miniature marshmallows
- 1 cup pecan pieces
- Combine chocolate chips, marshmallows, and pecans.
