Quick to make and eat, the club sandwich is a must. The bacon-smoked salmon mixture is divine! Use wholemeal, cereal or white bread, as you wish.
For 1 sandwich
- 3 slices of bread
- 2 slices of bacon, grilled and crispy
- 1 slice of cheddar
- 15 ml mayonnaise
- 4 cucumber slices
- 1 slice of smoked salmon
- 1 Boston lettuce leaf
- Toast the slices of bread in a toaster for a few minutes and set aside.
- Place the cheddar on 1 slice of bread and add the hot bacon slices; cover with 1 other slice of bread and press down with the palm of your hand.
- Add the mayonnaise, cucumber and smoked salmon to the slice of bread, then finish with the lettuce leaf; cover with remaining bread.
- Press the sandwich with the palm of your hand and cut it in half diagonally to give it a triangle shape; enjoy immediately.
- You can serve it with a green salad or fries with a small pot of mayonnaise.
