Köttbullar (Swedish meatballs)

 


                Meatballs are in vogue. So why deprive yourself of it? Köttbullar can be eaten with mustard and tomato sauce or with fresh tagliatelle.

For 6 servings

  • 400 g ground beef
  • 100 g ground veal
  • 100 g minced pork
  • 250 ml milk
  • 45 ml breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 100 g butter
  • 30ml vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper

  1. Put the beef, veal and pork in a bowl and mix.
  2. Pour the milk into a bowl, add the breadcrumbs and mix well; pour this mixture over the meat, add the egg, onion, salt and pepper, to taste, and mix everything together.
  3. Form small balls from the preparation in the palms of the hands; Heat the butter and oil in a large skillet and brown the meatballs on all sides.
  4. Enjoy them plain drizzled with cooking juices.
