This fondant chocolate cake with crushed hazelnuts is an afternoon treat.
For 4 servings
- 120 g dark chocolate
- 120 g butter
- 4 eggs
- 400 g sugar
- 5 ml vanilla essence
- 100 g all-purpose flour
- 120 g hazelnuts, crushed
- Pinch of salt
- In a large saucepan of simmering water, in a bain-marie, melt the chocolate and the butter; add the eggs one by one and the salt, mix well.
- Add the sugar until it becomes creamy; add vanilla and flour, mix well.
- Add the hazelnuts to the preparation.
- In an 8 inch square pan. x 8 in. buttered, pour the dough; preheat oven to 350F (180C) and bake for 20 minutes.
- Let the brownie cool and cut it into squares.
